Oh no! Oh no! That looks scary! Like a giant bath! Are you OK?
Love,
Amber
Hi Mags!!! Harley here...that sure looks WET!!!!!!!
Hey, Guinness knows how fun swimming can be! She used to go all of the time with General - he was a champ swimmer. It took Guinness time to get used to it, but throw that freebee and in she goes! It looks nice and cool where you are.
Oohhhhh, that looks like fun!! I wish we could go swimming in a lake. Our humans are afraid to take us cuz there is a nasty algae that can grow here and can kill dogs if they drink the water. So, unfortunately, we can't take the chance during the summer. The humans are suppose to get us a bigger pool, so maybe I will try that.
Holly
Hey Magnum! Did your Dad build that pond in your backyard? What'd he do with the living room?? Can we come over for a swim? Hope has a boat she can bring.
ECHO
Oh you look like you are having oodles of fun!!!!
hugs,
Sitka
Amber - Baths are evil because they take away delicious smells you have acquired on your fur, but swimming outside adds delicious smells, so it is fun.
Harley - Hi! The water is cooler than the air, so I have to get wet to get cool.
Guinness and Shiloh's Mommy - I am still getting used to it. I do not like to go as deep as my siblings.
Holly - I have heard about that algae, but I am actually in Barnegat Bay, NJ, so there was no algae, although we did see a horseshoe crab.
Echo - I wish it was my backyard!
Sitka - It is lots of fun, but I am still hoping for snow.
Hi Magnum, Tasha here. That looks like a really fun outing! I love the water too. Loved the "Working for a Living" post. Our humans do that with us. We know our role in the pack and know our pack leaders will take care of us. Belly Rubs, Tasha.
I agree, it's WAY too hot! I don't like water, but when it gets this hot I will wade to keep cool. I like the annoyed look on your face in the last photo!
Hot weather is stupid! When I'm president, I'm outlawing it!
T&E - All outings are fun, but I especially like getting special attention from Mama and Papa.
Indy - I was annoyed that Papa kept trying to lead me out to sea. I do not mind wading, but I do not like to swim.
Turbo - Good idea! I cannot wait until you are president.
